GE Global Research
Post graduate mechanical engineer of fluid mechanics and thermal science background, with experience in computational and experimental fluid dynamics. Strong passion for technology. Involved in development of models for predicting flow and thermal behavior of various products within GE businesses.

(1) I was born on 8th of October 1979

(3) Time for some fun. Went to college. Completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NERIST (4.67/5.00) in 2001. Was an active member of NCC.

(6) Soon realized job is different from college. But I was part of EEDP, a technical development program. Got to attend classes, solve assignments, and also do regular job. All at once. Got chance to work with multiple lab and technology.

(2) Did my Schooling in St. Josephs school. Completed my 10th Standard in 1995 with 76.33 %. Was an active member of Bharat Scouts and Guides.

(4) More studies to do. Cleared GATE and went to IIT Kanpur. M.Tech in Mechanical engineering (specialization: Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Science). Passed out in 2003 (9.33/10.0). Was selected as an GE Fund Scholar and published my Thesis work in an international journal.

(5) Time for job. Got offer for General Electric Global research centre in Bangalore. Joined on April, 2003.

(7) Work was well recognized with Filing of PATENT's.

(8) Its been some years now in GE. With Computational Fluid Dynamics as my core competency, finally settled down (no more hopping at different labs). Trying my hands on Coal Gasification technologies.
